Annalisa Mauri studied architecture at TU Milan, TU Vienna (Erasmus), and TU Cottbus, as well as landscape architecture at BOKU Vienna (Erasmus). She obtained her master's degree in 1998 from TU Milan. In 2000, she completed her postgraduate studies in landscape architecture at Fondazione Minoprio Como, earning a diploma.
Since 2004, Annalisa Mauri has been working as an independent landscape architect and has been involved in teaching and research at TU Vienna. Additionally, she serves as a lecturer at FH Kärnten and FH Campus Wien Green Building. Annalisa Mauri is a member of the Working Group for Equal Treatment Issues, the Anti-Discrimination Network, and the Claiming Space Collective at TU Vienna. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Austrian Federal Association for Mediation.
Her work focuses on the societal, spatial, and ecological significance and implementation of open spaces in both urban and rural areas. She prefers a process-oriented, interdisciplinary, and mindful approach to her work.
