Dominik Schmidt is a master's degree student in architecture with a bachelor's degree from HFT Stuttgart. In his bachelor's thesis, he delved into the development of a socially sustainable and flexible building project, initially designed as a student dormitory. This project distinguished itself through its adaptability, with the overarching goal of reducing obsolescence in architecture.
His interests in the master's program focus particularly on urban planning and green spaces within cities. His areas of interest span from topics like city transformation, addressing obsolescence in urban areas, to social aspects of the "In-Between Space," and extend to urban climate and the climate resilience of cities.
In addition to his academic background, Dominik Schmidt has gained valuable experiences working in various architectural firms in Austria, Germany, and South Africa.
