Clara Kessler

Student Assistant in Research and Administration
Clara Kessler is a student of architecture and has been working as a research and administrative assistant at the research unit since February 2021. Currently, she is working on her diploma thesis at the Research Unit for Regional Development, focusing on the intersection of architecture, spatial planning, and landscape architecture.
In addition to her studies, Clara has gained practical experience through various internships and freelance work in architecture firms in Vienna (Franz&Sue, Bosshard & Luchsinger Architekten) and Vorarlberg (Schroetter-Lenzi Architekten). Since 2018, she has also been involved with the Austrian Society for Architecture (ÖGFA).
Together with two fellow students, Clara achieved the 1st place at the Landscape Architecture Prize for Students (LAP) in 2019, a junior prize awarded by the Austrian Society for Landscape Architecture (ÖGLA). The project submitted for the prize originated from a design project developed within the framework of the Bachelor's Design at the Research Unit for Urban Planning.
