Lake access Attersee
How have the shore zones and their surroundings changed in terms of construction and space? What significance does Lake Attersee have as a natural and recreational area? What aspects does the topic of lake access encompass - from bathing areas and lakeside paths to views of the lake; from the development of lakes to consideration for other living creatures such as plants, aquatic life and birds? What legal and design options are there for finding creative solutions to improve accessibility? What rules are needed to deal with increased utilisation pressure and ecological issues in sensitive water landscapes in the best possible way? All these questions are addressed in the design process, starting with research and interviews on site. A wide range of projects is possible - from spatial designs to strategic concepts. Spatial planning students can take design as a Master's project.
Design is combined with LVA 260.925 ‘Excursion Attersee’.
