Lakeside landscapes and their significance for sustainable lake development

The presentations, discussions and excursions at this year’s Lakes Conference will focus on lake shores as key landscapes, recreational areas and habitats. The conference will address current issues relating to shoreline structures, the morphological and ecological condition of local lakes, public access to shoreline areas, and their responsible use and high-quality design.

The Austrian Lakes Conference (ÖSeeK) is an independent platform of ÖGLA | the Austrian Society for Landscape Architecture. It promotes the exchange of information and knowledge to support the sustainable development of local lakes and their lakeshore landscapes.
