Convivial Practice & Realities
– Methods and Processes for Co-Creating More-than-Human Conviviality
Conference
The event gathers around 30 invited researchers and practitioners from the natural sciences, humanities, planning, design, and the arts to explore how convivial relations between humans and other species can be cultivated, and how such practices can foster care and responsiveness within the environments we co-inhabit. Rather than focusing solely on planning and design, the workshop explores, analyses, and develops co-creative and participatory approaches that seek to make more-than-human coexistence tangible as a democratic process.
The workshop will be documented by filmmaker Fred Plassmann (Offscreen) as part of a documentary accompanying the event.
