Made in Sicily

As part of the linked and interdisciplinary course (Architecture and Urban Planning), the spatial and social reality of a Sicilian solidarity cooperative is examined: Le Galline Felici. Based on existing networks (knowledge, relationships, economic and social contexts), spatial structures are reflected upon and (also) investigated through an on-site excursion. Topics such as cultural landscape, local production & international marketing, co-production, sustainable tourism, and regional development will be addressed and further developed spatially according to the interests of the student teams. We embark on a geographical and professional journey, which will be open-ended in the spirit of the innovative and experimental cooperative. The excitement is great!
